First encounter with celebrities with beadsprites

I sold a few Chocobos and a piece of bacon to a guy who calls himself Warky once, but I didn’t think to get any pictures. From now on, I’m going to try to get pictures of celebrities I run into if they’re around and I have an appropriate sprite.
At the last convention I went to, I got to meet Don “Sonny” Strait, who played the voice of Lupin III in the English versions of the films. I brought him a Lupin sprite I had already made and he was kind enough to sign it for me!

Afterwards, at the same convention, I met a man named Shinichi Watanabe, who’s a Japanese director who makes all of his public appearances dressed up as Lupin! I didn’t get to talk to him much, and I don’t think he understood a lot of English, but he really enjoyed the Lupin III sprite!

He was surrounded by half a dozen young Japanese girls (lucky guy!) who were speaking only Japanese (and quite fast) and it seems they told him to have more fun with it:

It was pretty fun, even though I didn’t understand almost anything they were saying!

I hope to see more celebrities and have them sign more beadsprites in the future. I still have this Lupin sprite and often get asked what the price is. I’m not sure a good price would be, but I am certain that this is a one-of-a-kind piece!
